BOATS AT BAY VISTA

Here at Bay Vista we are lucky to be on 2 acres of park like grounds and have ample parking for boats.  We have the capacity to park 4 boats on site at any time  whether this be in the main car park or on the front lawn behind the units.  This is off street parking and as with any vehicle onsite at Bay Vista it is parked here at your own risk.  We please ask that there is only 1 boat per unit booked.  Parking for boats in our main car park is on a first in first served basis.  If you are arriving with a boat, please phone us the day you are due to arrive so we can let you know where you will need to park on the day.  Please book direct to guarantee boat parking on site at Bay Vista.

Boat Ramps:

There are 2 boat ramps within a 1 minute drive in either direction of Bay Vista.  One in the main Waikawa Marina and the other further around in Waikawa Bay.

Blue Cod Season:

Every year the Marlborough Sounds is closed for blue cod fishing from 1 September until 20 December. This gives time for the blue cod population in the sounds to undergo spawning undisturbed from fishing pressure.
