Bookings/Payment

We require a credit card to secure all bookings. All accommodation must be paid for on arrival. Please note that a surcharge of 2.5% will apply to all credit card payments made at the motel. Alternatively you may wish to pay by cash or EFTPOS which will not incur surcharge.

Any overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time.

Group Bookings: Bookings of 3 units or more are classed as a group booking. A prepaid deposit of the 1st night of each unit booked is required. The cancellation notice required on group bookings is 7 days. The deposit is non refundable in the event of a cancellation within the 7 days.

Cancellations

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS BOOKINGS: - Free cancellation up to 3 weeks prior.

ALL PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: - Free cancellation up to 7 days prior

BOOKINGS BETWEEN 20 DEC - 31 APR: - Free cancellation up until 7 days prior to arrival. (excluding above)

BOOKINGS BETWEEN 01 APR - 19 DEC: - Free cancellation up until 72 hours prior to arrival. (excludes public holiday weekends)

GROUP BOOKINGS: (3 or more units) - Free cancellation up until 14 days prior to arrival.

FAILURE TO ARRIVE: In the event of a no show the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Any cancellations within these times will be charged for any nights we are not able to on sell.

Reception hours:

8am - 8pm but late arrivals are always welcome, please advise us upon booking or ring to let us know if you are going to be later than expected..

Check-in is available from 1pm (late check in off Ferry available also)

Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure.

Late check-out is by arrangement only.

Visitors are not allowed in rooms after 10pm.

Damage to the room or property may be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income if applicable.

Smoking is not allowed in any room on the property. If you do smoke, then you may be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.

Pet Policy: We do not permit pets at Bay Vista (this also includes small dogs that don't shed). Seeing Eye Dogs by arrangement only.
