The Bay Vista Waterfront Motel is a family business, owned by Kerry and John Scheerhoorn.

Running a holiday park in Waikawa for 25 years, along with daughter Hayley and son Brent, gave them an intimate knowledge of Waikawa Bay and the Marlborough region. This is shared with motel manager Susan Hawke who is committed to ensuring that guests have a memorable experience.

At the Bay Vista Waterfront motel, the gifts of nature are celebrated. Guests can use fruit from two lemon trees to squeeze over freshly caught fish - or enhance a gin and tonic. For other culinary flavours, select some herbs from the garden.

In return, everyone is asked to follow Bay Vista's commitment to the environment and dispose food scraps, bottles, aluminium cans and newspapers in the separate containers provided.
